Course summary
This course is aimed at land-based graduates with an interest in developing their strategic management skills. Future managers in land-based and rural businesses will be required to balance their business objectives with societal and political demands, both of which are set to change at a rapid pace. Participants will study the following areas: principles of strategic management, dissertation, economics of international food and energy markets, resource and environmental management, european and world agricultural policies and food chain studies.
