Course summary
This is a final year course that builds on skills developed during the foundation degree. It gives a sound academic base and practical knowledge whilst giving an understanding of the disciplines and facts surrounding animal behaviour and welfare. Participants will study the following areas: captive animal management, animal cognition, behavioural assessment of welfare, animal ethics, physiology of behaviour and physiological assessment of welfare.
