Course summary
This program allows advanced students the opportunity to enter UF’s Pharmacy College after three years of undergraduate study, and to earn a BS in Nutritional Sciences after completion of the first year of Pharmacy. Students in this program are not guaranteed admission into UF Pharmacy and must apply through regular processes. Graduation requires 120 credits. Admission to the 3+4 Pharmacy program requires a GPA of 3.00 in science and math courses (in boldface), and an overall GPA of 3.00. Students in this program are not guaranteed admission into the College of Pharmacy.
Entry requirement for international students
Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree or Master's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or a comparable degree from an international institution, a minimum grade average of B for all upper-division undergraduate work and scores that are acceptable for the program to which students are applying. They must also have acceptable scores on the General Test of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Students should contact the academic unit for specific program criteria, which will require them to submit such items as transcripts, recommendation letters, and more. International applicants should submit the English proficiency test scores (i.e.) TOEFL or IELTS.
