Course summary
The sculpture area provides students with the resources to combine current art theory, an understanding of relevant cultural and historical issues, and the application of specialized technical skills to create works of art having clarity of intention.
Entry requirement for international students
Minimum basic admission requirements for the Graduate College include the award of a bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, from a college or university which grants degrees recognized by The University of Arizona. Details of "Recognized Degrees" and "Comparable Degrees" are outlined in the specific menu sections for Domestic and International Students. Beyond the award of a bachelors degree, there is a minimum grade point average (GPA) expectation of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for previous university work completed. Details of the GPA requirement can be found in the specific menu section under GPA. The set of requirements that prospective UA graduate students must meet in order to be admitted differ for Domestic Students and International Students.
