Course summary
This program is designed to prepare students for upper division course work leading to a baccalaureate degree in enology or viticulture. It prepares students for entry level and advanced positions in the wine industry including wine production, quality assurance and control, cellar supervision, vineyard management, research, and production.

Entry requirement for international students
Admission to this college is opened for applicants possessing a high school diploma or the equivalent or any individual who is at least 18 years of age and capable of profiting from the instruction. International students with a TOEFL score of less than 475 paper-based, 153 computer-based, or 53 internet-based are required to take the Allan Hancock College English as a Second Language (ESL) assessment test for placement into the appropriate ESL classes before registering for classes. And those who with a score of 475 paper-based (153 computer-based) or higher on the TOEFL are required to take the Allan Hancock College START test for English placement.
