Entry requirement for international students
Admission to this college is opened for applicants possessing a high school diploma or the equivalent or any individual who is at least 18 years of age and capable of profiting from the instruction. International students with a TOEFL score of less than 475 paper-based, 153 computer-based, or 53 internet-based are required to take the Allan Hancock College English as a Second Language (ESL) assessment test for placement into the appropriate ESL classes before registering for classes. And those who with a score of 475 paper-based (153 computer-based) or higher on the TOEFL are required to take the Allan Hancock College START test for English placement.
