Course summary
This accelerated M.S. degree program offers the opportunity to students who graduate with a B.S. degree from the environmental sciences major at the College of Natural Resources and the Environment, and the newly proposed undergraduate degree in public health, to complete the M.S. degree within one academic year plus an intervening summer. Students must have completed the entrance prerequisites of two years of chemistry, one year of physics, and one year of calculus.

Entry requirement for international students
Students must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from any college or university of recognized standing. They should have a strong science background or the undergraduate work. They must have a GPA of 2.75 or better and possess the GRE score of 50th percentile on verbal, quantitative and analytical. Applicants whose native language is not English, including those from India and the People's Republic of China, must demonstrate English language proficiency by taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 600 on paper based test, 250 on computer based test and 85-100 on internet based test is required for admission.
