Course summary
This program prepares technicians who support electrical/electronic engineers and other technical professionals in the design, development, modification and testing of electronic circuits, devices and systems. This major and emphasis also includes instruction in science, mathematics and the electronics necessary to support learning in practical circuit feasibility, prototype development and testing, systems analysis (including design, selection, installation, calibration, and testing), solid-state and micro miniature circuits and the application of technical data to specific problems in the electronics field.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and be at least 18 years of age. They must participate in placement testing prior to acceptance. International students must fulfill English language requirements by taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 500 (paper version), 190 (computerized version) or 61 (internet based version).
