Course summary

This program is designed for transfer to a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. On completion of this program, students will achieve the following goals, they will be able to demonstrate a required level of creativity and technical proficiency in their medium; demonstrate an ability to execute images that reflect their own ideas and concepts; develop a consistent body of work reflecting a concept/theme; understand the historical and cultural development of works of art throughout the ages from pre-history to the 21st Century; and communicate informed personal reactions to works of art.

Entry requirement for international students

All International students must demonstrate English language proficiency by submitting one of the following: TOEFL (Test of English Foreign Language) with a minimum score of 500 (paper based) or 61 (internet based) or MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery) score of 75.
