Course summary
In this program students have a wide choice of careers in the desktop publishing field. A graduate may work as a graphic designer with a company that creates promotional material and advertising campaigns as well as catalogs, brochures, instruction manuals, newsletters, technical literature, and many other items requiring visual design. Publishing companies use desktop publishing to lay out books, magazines, and other publications. A graduate may work as a Webmaster, from designing and creating Web pages to maintaining the site.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have earned a certificate of completion of secondary education that would enable the student to be admitted to a university in his or her home country, have studied mathematics and science subjects at the secondary level, a minimum score of 173(CBT) or 61/120 (IBT) in TOEFL (College of Engineering and Computer Science requires 197(CBT) or 71/120(IBT)), a minimum score of band 5 in IELTS, 1140 or higher in SAT or 25 or higher in ACT for coming directly out of secondary school with GPA is 3.25 or higher and must ranked among the top 10% of their graduating class.
