Course summary
The mission of the Andover College legal studies program is for students to learn how to communicate effectively, synthesize important legal concepts, and demonstrate ethical decision-making skills. Students also are expected to develop thorough and effective legal research methods to solve problems, demonstrate legal writing techniques, and apply these techniques to enhance their professional lives.

The modules are as follows: LS 101 Introduction to Legal Studies, LS 109 Business Law, LS 110 Civil Litigation I, LS 111 Civil Litigation II, LS 210 Legal Research I, LS 211 Legal Research II, LS 221 Wills, Trusts, and Estate Administration, LS 274 Computers and Technology in the Law, LS 296 Real Estate Law, LS 297 Tort Law, LS 299 Capstone in Legal Studies.
Entry requirement for international students
An applicant seeking admission to Andover College must be a high school graduate or possess a General Education Development (GED) certificate or possess a Home Study certificate or transcript from a Home Study program that is equivalent to high school level and is recognized by the student's home state. All applicants must complete an informational interview. They must obtain minimum TOEFL scores of 477 on the paper-based test or 153 on the computer-based test or Kaplan’s most advanced-level English language courses, if English is not the student’s primary language.
