Entry requirement for international students

Students should be a high school graduate. They should have a ACT Score of 19 or 900 and above on the SAT, or minimum grade point average of 2.50 on a 4.00 system and must have completed 14 High School State Board of Regents Unit requirements. A student 21 years of age or older who does not meet the required high school grade point average, must take the ACT/SAT. An applicant whose native language is not English is required to submit a test score of 500 as the minimum acceptance level of performance on the Test of English as a Foreign Language, (TOEFL) or 80 percent on The Michigan Test. Students who do not have ACT/SAT equivalent score of 19 or above and who have not had college-level English and/or Math must undergo COMPASS testing.
