Course summary
This program curriculum provides graduates with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience necessary for employment in the paralegal profession. It includes general courses in law and legal research techniques along with studies of specialized legal topics. In addition to the University’s general education requirements (which must be fulfilled in part with the courses listed below), the A.S. in legal studies requires 39 semester hours of legal studies and MGMT 120 Introduction to Business and Technology Skills.

Entry requirement for international students
Students must require a minimum TOEFL score for computerized exam (173), internet based (61) or IELTS (5.5); an overall GPA of 2.5 or better maintain liability health insurance CPR certification.
