Course summary
This program introduces students to the nature and history of artistic development in the Western world. It is conceived as one of the disciplines of the liberal arts and is envisioned as a preparation for graduate study in art history, as well as for careers in art librarianship, museum work, slide curatorship, historic preservation, and art conservation.

Entry requirement for international students
Applicants to be considered for admission should have completed the equivalent of 12 years of elementary and secondary education. Also applicants need to provide evidence of proficiency in English language with a minimum Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores of 500 (paper-based test), 173 (computer-based test), and 61 (Internet-based test). International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 5.5 may also be used as an alternative.
