Course summary
This program emphasizes liberal education, providing study in art combined with a second cognitive field, either as a minor or second major. Because of its flexibility, the B.A. is the ideal multi disciplinary degree for the student wishing to combine their involvement with art with the conceptual base of another field of inquiry.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have completed high school diploma or a GED. In addition, the individual has attempted fewer than 26 semester (39 quarter) credits at a post-secondary institution. If a student is graduating from high school and has less than 26 semester credits, she/he will be considered a new entering freshman, allowing the student to be considered for merit scholarships and participation in Academic Orientation. High school students should have completion of a minimum of the following courses: 4 years English, 3 years math (including a minimum of algebra, intermediate algebra, and geometry), 3 years science (1 year each of biological and physical science), 3 years social studies (including U.S. history) and 2 years single second language. Scores from either the ACT or SAT exams including writing is required. International students must have minimum TOEFL scores of 550 Written, 213 Computer, 80 Internet (iBT) or an IELTS score of 6.5.
