Course summary
This program provides students with the opportunity to study a wide variety of visual arts media. Together with basic instruction in drawing, design, and art history, students, under advisement, select 24 credit hours in electives in fine arts and/or design. Students in this program are prepared for positions that require a well-rounded bachelor's degree in the liberal arts. They may also attend graduate school. Students who choose graduate school typically pursue studio specialty areas or related humanities disciplines. Graduates have been hired as director's assistants, studio assistants, preparators, artists, and managers by museums and galleries, businesses, public agencies, and nonprofit organizations.

The courses are DES 101 Introductory Design 2D I, DES 103 Introductory Design 3D I, FAR 101 Drawing I, FAR 102 Drawing II, FAR 250 Art History I, FAR 251 Art History II.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants to be considered for admission should have completed the equivalent of 12 years of elementary and secondary education. Also applicants need to provide evidence of proficiency in English language with a minimum Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores of 500 (paper-based test), 173 (computer-based test), and 61 (Internet-based test). International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 5.5 may also be used as an alternative.
