Course summary
This program provides an intellectual challenge as well as sound training for students who intend to go on to graduate school in the social sciences or humanities and focus their research on Asia. It also provides an essential background for students who are contemplating careers involving work in Asia.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicant should have a better academic excellence in their high school. There is no required GPA or test score; however, the most successful applicants have taken challenging courses and have excellent grades. The average SAT-I score of admitted international students is about 1390 (on the critical reading and math sections of the SAT) and should have a competitive TOEFL score to be 250 (or 100 on the internet-based TOEFL or 600 on the paper-based TOEFL). An IELTS score of 7.0 or higher is accepted as an alternative to the TOEFL.
