Course summary
The B.A. Degree/Biochemistry Option is intended for the student who is interested in studying chemistry at its interface with the biological sciences. Students interested in attending medical school can obtain an exceptionally good science background through this option.

Entry requirement for international students
Applicants should have a cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) for course work completed in grades 9 through 12. Level of difficulty of course work selected throughout high school, particularly in the areas of English, mathematics, social studies, laboratory science, and foreign language. A minimum TOEFL score of 88 or higher on the internet-based exam, 230 or higher on the computer-based exam, and 570 or higher on the paper-based exam or a minimum score of 6.5 on IELTS is required. A minimum score of 450 or higher on the SAT I critical reading section or an ACT-English score of 20 or higher is also required.
