The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Western Oregon University is the largest of the two colleges on the campus. It is home to 118 tenure track faculty and approximately 90 adjunct faculty members in 7 divisions: Business and Economics, Computer Science, Creative Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Psychology and Social Science. Programs are housed in eleven buildings across campus.

Accommodation details

Accommodation is provided in four residence halls specifically designed for freshman living experiences. Heritage Hall and Landers Hall feature community living options which include double rooms, shared community bathrooms, and public areas for group activities. In addition, the suite style rooms of Barnum Hall, the more traditional rooms of Maaske Hall will serve as home to the freshmen. There is also possibility that Gentle hall will be designated for freshman housing as well. The University also offers approximately 450 living spaces for upper-class students. Upper-class students are housed primarily in the suite style rooms of Butler Hall, Gentle Hall, the more traditional rooms of Arbuthnot Hall, and the Arbor Park apartments, which are comprised of Cedar, Noble and Spruce Halls. These coeducational halls each house 70 to 210 students.
