Course summary
This program provides an interdisciplinary approach to the study of crime, the function of criminal law and the criminal justice system. The program focuses on preparing students for professional careers in the major areas of law enforcement and security services, court services, corrections and human services by combining an academic challenge with practical work experience through internships. The program provides the rigorous preparation necessary for students who wish to continue their education at the graduate level.

Entry requirement for international students
Students must have completed a minimum of 16 college-preparatory units in high school curriculum that includes four units in English, two units in laboratory science and social studies; three units in college prep mathematics (algebra I and II, and geometry) and five units in history, languages (minimum two units in one language), mathematics, science or English. They must possess ACT or SAT scores. Freshman students whose first language is not in English must have Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based) and 79 (internet based test) or IELTS with a score of 5.5 is required for admission.
