Course summary
Students in this program will develop a broad knowledge of science, through classroom instruction and laboratory investigations. Specialized knowledge in a primary field will be gained by taken courses in a concentration area. This major is appropriate for pre-med, pre-law and pre-pharm students, allied health majors and will provide content for students intending to teach grades 5-10.

Entry requirement for international students
Applicant must have completed the equivalent of an American secondary school education (usually 12 years of formal education) and have the appropriate graduation diplomas or satisfactory leaving examination results. Applicants still attending their secondary school (usually the first 12 years of schooling and equivalent to a U.S. high school) or if they have taken fewer than 15 credits (generally four to five courses or one-half year of study) at an institution of higher education after satisfactorily completing their secondary schooling can also apply. They should have grade point average of 3.0 in college-prep courses with B average. They must have obtained minimum TOEFL scores of 550 for paper-based test, 213 for computer-based test, and 79 for internet-based test; or they should have IELTS minimum score of 6.0.
