Course summary
The biochemistry degree combines the fundamentals of the B.S. degree in chemistry with the advanced courses in biochemistry and the life sciences. The biochemistry degree is designed for students interested in biochemistry related careers or life/health sciences (i.e. medical). Biochemistry majors are required to minor in biology (24 hours).
Entry requirement for international students
Students should be a high school graduate and have not attended college or university. They should also have their class rank and ACT or SAT scores and applicants whose native is not English must have a minimum TOEFL score of 550 on the paper-based test, 213 on the computer-based test, or 79 on the internet-based test.
