Course summary
This dual-degree program provides the type of broad training that contemporary employer in these industries value. It is the first program of its type in the Chicago area. With contemporary life sciences playing an ever-larger role in the economy, there is an increasing demand by employers for individuals with rigorous training in biology as well as business. Career opportunities in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries are expanding significantly, and are likely to continue to do so for the foreseeable future as applications of modern biological research continue to grow.

Entry requirement for international students
Students must have completed high school preparatory curriculum with four years of English (required); three to four years of math; three years of social science; two or more years of foreign language; three to four years of natural or physical science (with lab). Also applicants whose first or native language is not English must demonstrate their proficiency with a minimum of 79 on the TOEFL exam or a 6.5 on the IELTS, 550 on the written test or 213 on the computer-based test.
