This program can be the starting point for a wealth of career options in scientific and technical areas, research, health care, and education. This program is designed to fulfill the needs of students who wish to study in the diverse areas of biology, zoology, botany, microbiology, marine biology, science education, pre-professional health studies, and biomedical-health sciences. Entry requirement for international students
Applicants should have earned a high school diploma or the equivalent. Adequate preparation typically includes English (four years), social studies (three years), mathematics (three years), science (two years) and college preparatory electives (four years). For unconditional admission they must have obtained a minimum of GPA 2.5, SAT 900 (critical reading and math) or ACT 19, or a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), 21(computer-based) or 79-80 (internet based).
