Course summary
This program is offered to undergraduate students seeking to understand student major in a global perspective. Students in this program must demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language; complete coursework in a country/regional elective, international relations, and global economics; and participate study/research/abroad experience (usually in the junior year). While abroad, students are required to complete in a supervised research experience with a faculty member in chemistry and biochemistry at the host institution.
Entry requirement for international students
Students should have score of the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT I). The scores must be sent directly from the testing agency to Georgia Tech. Regardless of the system in which student have been educated, they must earn a minimum score of 440 on the verbal portion of the SAT I to be considered for admission. Based on figures from previous years, they combined math and verbal SAT I score should be better than 1300 to be competitive for admission. Students should have official English translation and a document-by-document evaluation of the high school coursework. The document-by-document evaluation must be prepared by an accredited foreign credential evaluation service that names and describes all diplomas, certificates, degrees, periods of education or training and gives U.S. equivalences for each. This evaluation must also include a GPA.
