Course summary

Computer Science is a diverse field of study with many possible career paths. The Computer Science Department encourages students to tailor their upper-level electives to the areas of computer science that interest them the most. In addition to traditional emphasis areas such as systems, software engineering and theoretical computer science, some newer areas of concentration are also available to students. Some examples are listed below.

Modules include CS 1530 Software Engineering CS 1566 Introduction to Computer Graphics CS 1571 Introduction to Artificial Intelligence CS 1666 Principles of Computer Game Design and Implementation.

Entry requirement for international students

Applicants must have minimum IELTS score for undergraduate admission is 6.5. The minimum TOEFL score for undergraduate admissions is 80 on the iBT (internet-based test); 213 on the CBT (computer-based test); or 550 on the PBT (paper-based test). Students who have SAT Critical Reading result of 600 or above are exempt from the TOEFL or IELTS requirement.
