Course summary
The Food Processing option prepares graduates for employment in a large and growing segment of the US economy. Food processing is projected to enjoy significant growth over the next decade as the population grows. The trend of automating food production facilities has created a great demand for graduates with a knowledge of both the technical and managerial aspects of food processing.
Program modules
The modules include AGS 101 Animal Science and two of the following: AGS 342 Meat Science and Products, AGS 346 Dairy Products, AGS 451 Poultry Production or AGA 105 Plant Science and two of the following: AGH 343 Vegetable Production, AGH 393 Fruit Production, FRS 401 Pomology, FRS 411 Viticulture.
