Course summary
This track is designed for students who want to major in law enforcement, but are not seeking licensure in Minnesota. Grounded in the liberal arts and sciences, this degree program helps individuals develop the knowledge, and perspectives for understanding the law enforcement profession.
Entry requirement for international students
A freshman is a student starting college or university for the first time or transferring with less than 16 credits. Usually this student is directly out of secondary school with no college/university experience. Students’ academic performance will be evaluated for acceptance to Metropolitan State. If students grade reports are not issued with a U.S. 4.0 grading system the admissions office will evaluate their ECE report to determine eligibility. Freshmen students need to have a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) in an American equivalent system. International students should have official TOEFL scores. The required TOEFL minimum scores are as follows: 500 on paper test, 173 on computer-based exam, and 61 on internet based exam.
