Course summary
This program is the study of biology encompasses all of the life sciences and endeavors to enhance their understanding and appreciation of living things. Students with training in the biological Sciences will be among those who will contribute much toward solving critical problems facing the worlds today such as food, shortage, disease and environmental use.
Program modules
Students will have their courses in Bio I plant focus, Bio II animal focus, Introduction to Genetics, Introduction to Ecology, Field Biology, Plant taxonomy or plant kingdom, Invertebrate zoology or travel study or pigeon lake, organic evolution, General Ecology or Conservation biology, Colloquium, Senior colloquium.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must complete secondary education consisting of a college preparatory program with an above average academic record. Students are required to submit scores from either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) (minimum score paper based: 500, computer based: 173+, internet based: 61) or the Michigan Test of English Language Proficiency (minimum score 70). For evaluation of transfer credit from colleges/universities attended outside of the United States, submit transcripts to Educational Credentials Evaluators, Inc.
