Course summary
The Bachelor of Arts is recommended for students in interdisciplinary programs, for entrance to professional schools, and for biological careers that do not specifically require a B.S. degree with a major in Biology.
Program modules
The courses are: BIL 150 (General Biology) and BIL 151 (Laboratory), BIL 160 (Evolution and Biodiversity) and BIL 161 (Laboratory), One semester of inorganic chemistry with laboratory (CHM 111/113 or CHM 103/105), One semester of organic chemistry with laboratory (CHM 201/205 or CHM 104/106) and a minor in a department other than natural science, as approved by the College of Arts and Sciences.
Entry requirement for international students
The standards for admission to this program are 1300 SAT or a GPA of 3.5 after 24 credits of work at the University.
