Course summary
The Bachelor of Arts degree is for students interested in entering professional schools or occupations of an environmental nature. Chemists perform essential functions in industry by converting raw materials into useful finished products. Chemists occupy key positions in manufacturing, production, quality control, research and development, sales, management, and education, Opportunities for careers are available in the industrial sector as well as in many agencies of the federal government. Entry requirement for international students
Students who are entering freshmen with high school class graduated within the previous five years must have a high school academic Grade Point Average of 2.5, have taken 16 units in the College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC), and should have SAT scores of 490 Critical Reading and 460 Math, or ACT scores of 20 English and 19 Math. Minimum required Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score for admission is as follows: paper-based score of 550, a computer-based score of 213, or a Internet based score of 79.
