Course summary
This program prepares students for the practice of architecture in entry-level positions and is part of an intern development program that leads to professional registration. This curriculum is designed to enable students to learn theories and methodologies of architectural design as well as to understand the social, economic, political, and technological forces that shape the built environment. The principal educational component of the program is a coordinated series of studio courses in which creative design talents and management skills are developed. Students will have the opportunity of a semester in Temple Rome and/or Temple Japan in either their third or fourth year.

Entry requirement for international students
Applicant must have completed the equivalent of an American secondary school education (usually 12 years of formal education) and have the appropriate graduation diplomas or satisfactory leaving examination results. Applicants still attending their secondary school (usually the first 12 years of schooling and equivalent to a U.S. high school) or if they have taken fewer than 15 credits (generally four to five courses or one-half year of study) at an institution of higher education after satisfactorily completing their secondary schooling can also apply. They should have grade point average of 3.0 in college-prep courses with B average. They must have obtained minimum TOEFL scores of 550 for paper-based test, 213 for computer-based test, and 79 for internet-based test; or they should have IELTS minimum score of 6.0.
