Art Education students are grounded in a curriculum rich in art history and culture, art criticism and theory, aesthetics, and studio. Students examine visual development of young people and practice constructing learning environments where social imagination and skills of visual literacy flourish. Students submit portfolios for admission into the Art Education Program during their sophomore year and enter the two year program beginning junior year.
