The required courses are: ANTH 220 -- Survey of Prehistory, ANTH 230 -- Survey of Biological Anthropology, ANTH 240 -- Survey of Cultural Anthropology, ANTH 280 -- The Nature of Language and ANTH 397 -- History of Anthropology and ANTH 498 -- Senior Seminar.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must include 4 years of English, 3 years of college preparatory mathematics, 3 years of natural science, 2 years of the same foreign language, and at least one year of additional academic elective credit. Applicants who meet these high school requirements will be admitted. Students not meeting criteria for assured admission will be considered for admission based on a combination of class rank, test scores, and high school units. An Engineering Prep Program is available for students having deficiencies in their math and science backgrounds. Acceptance to Nursing is highly competitive. Preference is given to those who meet these criteria; however, not all qualified applicants can be accepted.
