Course summary

This program provides students with the knowledge and skills required for a career in teaching in the elementary, middle and/or high schools. Students apply for acceptance into the teacher certification program at the end of their sophomore year and are prepared to take the teacher certification tests.

Entry requirement for international students

Students applying for admission should submit an Anna Maria College application, an official copy of the high school transcript or GED, official results of SAT or ACT tests, a letter of recommendation from a teacher, a guidance counselor, or a clergy member. International students must submit the official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores, a 250 - 500 word personal statement describing their educational goals and explaining why they wish to pursue an Education in the United States and a certified financial documentation from a financial institution.
