Course summary
Students graduating with a major in Government are well prepared for careers in government, law, the non-profit sector, diplomacy, international service, law enforcement, business, journalism, teaching, and further post-baccalaureate education. The emphasis investigates the origin, creation, and historical development of the U.S. constitutional institutions as well as their contemporary existence. Attention is given to the public policy process and bureaucratic politics and their relation to the national government.
