Course summary
The classics program offers a major in classics which allows concentration in Greek or Latin languages or Classical Studies. Minors are offered in Greek, Latin, or Classical Studies. The program offers courses in Greek and Latin; courses in translation (CLAS); and courses in the departments of art history, comparative literature, history, philosophy, and religious studies to provide a variety of enhancements to the study of literature and language of the ancient world.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants must be high school graduates or have equivalent qualification. International students whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by obtaining minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), 210 (computer-based) or 77 (internet-based). Applicants may also take the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) in lieu of the TOEFL. A minimum score of 6.5 is required for the IELTS.
