Course summary
Students examine the role of communication in all areas of life including organizational communication, small group communication, interpersonal communication, and communication ethics just to name a few. Students will learn the theory behind communication and its effective application in a dynamic environment. The Communication major at Regent University emphasizes and enhances analytical, critical, and creative thinking, listening, speaking, and writing. Students in the professional communication emphasis learn how to communicate effectively in the legal, political, and business arenas. Graduates often pursue careers in information design, corporate communications, publishing, public relations, training and development, and advertising.
