Course summary
This program guides the learning experiences of the students in the communication processes as they apply to the practice of law and law related fields, such as politics, policy analysis and development, and management. The students develop knowledge of and gain experience in legal research, case analysis and brief writing. Students also develop skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, argumentation and mock trial through class preparation and participation. Legal communication majors often continue their education in law school or other graduate programs. Because of the extensive background in communications, they have also pursued careers in the business, public policy, political, entertainment and other related fields.

Entry requirement for international students
Students must have official transcripts of CSC, CXC, GCE, WASC, CGSE or official final secondary school records, results from the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test Assessment (ACT), international students from non-English speaking country must have scores from Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
