Course summary
This is an interdisciplinary degree program built on a model proposed by the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS), the organization that sets standards for criminal justice degrees. The degree will be delivered on both the Downtown Campus and the Colorado Springs Campus. Graduates of the BACJ will earn a highly marketable degree, in an area that the State of Colorado considers one of critical future need. Potential employers include law enforcement agencies within state, local and federal government, the Colorado Department of Corrections, probation departments, and the military. Entry requirement for international students
Students wishing to enroll in this program must rank in the upper 30th percentile of high school graduating class, have ACT composite score of 25 or above or an SAT composite score of 1120 or above, also expected high school works are in: English - 4 units, Math - 4 units (at least two years of algebra, one year geometry, one year advanced math), Natural Science - 3 units (one year physics, one year of chemistry), Social Science - 2 units (government, history, economics, psychology, sociology), Foreign Language - 2 units (all in a single language), Academic Electives - 1 unit.
