Course summary
This program undergoes the challenging rigors of actor training and rehearsal to expand and extend their own expressive capabilities through performance. Opportunities to perform include main stage plays and musicals, one-act festivals in the Studio Theater, student-directed scenes/one acts, and occasional roles at regional commercial venues.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must meet the following preparatory courses: four units of English, four units of math, with at least Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II, four units of history or social studies, four units of laboratory science, three or more units in one foreign language (preferred), or two units each of two foreign languages. Students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 530 or above on the paper-based test, a score of 71 or above for the internet-based test, or a score of 197 or above on the computer-based test is required for admission.
