Course summary
This program will provide the student with a clear view of the past in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Students in the history curriculum will have an opportunity to examine ideas; gain an understanding of how to do historical research; and learn to read critically, to write carefully, and to think problems through to a logical conclusion.

Entry requirement for international students
Students will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who meet a TOEFL score of 525(CBT 195), IELTS 6, or A.C.E. Language Institute Level 6 (available at MSU) and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of a 2.5 on a four-point scale will qualify for admission.
