Course summary
This adolescence to Young Adult Life Sciences/Physics Licensure Program is based on an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in physics. This program gives a good background for a wide range of fields such as medicine, business, engineering, and computer science. Students interested in teaching physics at the secondary school level should pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in physics education. All students are involved in a research project during their senior year and may work in research labs as sophomores and juniors. Recent research projects have included: solid state physics, atomic and molecular spectroscopy, medical physics, and geophysics.

Entry requirement for international students
Students must have earned a certificate of completion of secondary education that would enable the student to be admitted to a university in his or her home country, have studied mathematics and science subjects at the secondary level, a minimum score of 173(CBT) or 61/120 (IBT) in TOEFL (College of Engineering and Computer Science requires 197(CBT) or 71/120(IBT)), a minimum score of band 5 in IELTS, 1140 or higher in SAT or 25 or higher in ACT for coming directly out of secondary school with GPA is 3.25 or higher and must ranked among the top 10% of their graduating class.
