Course summary
This program is designed to provide professional training in economics applicable to business management for students contemplating administrative or research careers in business or government. It provides an additional career program option for students by permitting them to major in economics while taking the same foundation courses required of all business students. This is a cooperative program with the College of Business.
Program modules
Economics 201, Introductory Macroeconomics, Economics 202, Introductory Microeconomics, Economics 301, Intermediate Macroeconomics, Economics 302, Intermediate Microeconomics.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 173 (CBT) and 500 (PBT), or MELAB score of 72, or IELTS score of 6.0. ACT or SAT test scores may waive the English proficiency test requirement; the English sub score or critical reasoning sub score must be at least 19 or 430, respectively.
