Human Resource Management is a diverse career covering the broad aspects of managing people in business environments. Within business organizations, the Human Resource Management department focuses on employees as groups and as individuals at work, and it includes such matters as recruitment, pay, training, retirement, health insurance, grievances, and advancement.

The modules include MGT 2013 Introduction to Management, MGT 3013 Principles of Organization and Management, MGT 3363 Organizational Behavior, MGT 3513 Human Resource Management Practice, MGT G4123 Industrial Relations, MGT 4133 Leadership, MGT G4153 Current Issues in Human Resource Management, MGT 4163 Organizational Management of Professional Sport, MGT 4183 Negotiation, MGT 4323 Cross-Cultural Issues of Managerial Behavior, MGT 4373 Compensation Issues in Management, MGT G4513 Organizational Design and Theory, MGT G4710 Special Problems in Management.

Entry requirement for international students

Students should possess graduation from an accredited high school or they should have received a GED. The high school curricular core requirements should include the following courses: 4 units of English, 3 units of college prep math, 3 units of laboratory science, 3 units of history and citizenship and 2 additional units. An official TOEFL score of 550 on the paper-based test (213 on the computer-based test or 79 on the internet-based test), IELTS score of 6.5 and cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) is required.
