Course summary
This program is one of the most respected in the Mid-South. The experienced faculty teaches management students to be team players while stressing the development of an ethical framework and leadership skills. Many of the upper-level courses in management involve projects where students work with businesses in the Nashville area, and students can gain valuable leadership experience by participating in the many business student organizations. Many career opportunities exist for people with a background in management, including positions in banking, retail, manufacturing, human resources, and nonprofit organizations. Belmont graduates have accepted offers from employers such as Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), Asurion, Marriott Corporation, MARS Petcare, Loews Vanderbilt Plaza, Gaylord Entertainment, Destination Nashville and Tractor Supply Company.

Entry requirement for international students
International applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in the English language by meeting any one of the following: minimum TOEFL score of 550 paper-based test (PBT) or 80 internet-based test (iBT); minimum IELTS score of 6.5; minimum SAT Critical Reading score of 530 or ACT English subscore of 23; successful completion of ELS Language Center Level 112. All applicants with college level coursework from a foreign institution must have their transcripts evaluated by an approved foreign credential evaluation organization, such as World Educations Services (WES) or Joseph Silny and Associates or an evaluation service listed currently as a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
