Course summary

This program builds upon a strong grounding in the liberal arts and subsequent in-depth exposure to functional areas in business including accounting, marketing, finance, operations, management, leadership, and computer applications. Students gain advanced preparation in global management, social issues management, team-building, managing diversity, business strategy, instilling innovation, and responding to the changing environment of business. The curriculum cultivates written and oral communication skills and the use of leading technology.

The modules are: MGMT 300 - Operations Management, MGMT 303 - Managerial Accounting, MGMT 306 - Organizational Behavior and Diversity, MGMT 308 - Ethical, Political , and Social Environment of Business, MGMT 310 - Legal Issues for Managers, MGMT 322 - Marketing Management, MGMT 326 - Financial Management, MGMT 328 - International Management, MGMT 450 - Computer Based Information Systems, MGMT 498 - Strategic Management.

Entry requirement for international students

Students must have an American upper secondary school education or equivalent and have the appropriate diplomas or satisfactory results on leaving examinations, with strong academic preparation or a U.S. equivalent grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (for freshman applicants) or 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (for transfer students), a minimum score of 6.5 in IELTS or a minimum of 520 on the paper test, 190 on the computerized version, or 68 on the internet-based test in TOEFL, minimum score for the CPE or CAE is a C.
