Modules include (12 credits) Calculus I, II, III: MATH 0220, 0230, 0240 , (3 credits) Linear Algebra: MATH 0280 or 1180 or 1185,(3 credits) Ordinary Differential Equations: MATH 0290 or MATH 1270 (6 credits), Actuarial Mathematics: MATH 1120 and 1121,(3 credits) Numerical Methods: MATH 1070 or 1080 , (6 credits) Applied Mathematics: two courses from MATH 1280, 1360, 1470, and 1480,(3 credits) Industrial Mathematics: MATH 1100,(12 credits) Economics: ECON 0100, 0110, 1100, and 1110,(3 credits) Computer Science: CS 0007 or CS 0132 (9 credits), Statistics: STAT 1151, STAT 1152, and either STAT 1631 or STAT 1731,(3 credits) Business: BUS FIN 1030 or ECON 1440
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants must have minimum IELTS score for undergraduate admission is 6.5. The minimum TOEFL score for undergraduate admissions is 80 on the iBT (internet-based test); 213 on the CBT (computer-based test); or 550 on the PBT (paper-based test). Students who have SAT Critical Reading result of 600 or above are exempt from the TOEFL or IELTS requirement. Admission to the German major requires the completion of German 0004 with at least a B- grade or an appropriate score on the department’s placement test.
