Program modules

The modules include ASTR 1504 General Astronomy, ASTR 1514 General Astronomy with Laboratory, ASTR 2513 Observatory Methods, ASTR 3103 Stars, ASTR 3113 Galaxies and Cosmology, ASTR 3190 Topics in Astronomy, ASTR 3990 Independent Study.

Entry requirement for international students

Students should possess graduation from an accredited high school or they should have received a GED. The high school curricular core requirements should include the following courses: 4 units of English, 3 units of college prep math, 3 units of laboratory science, 3 units of history and citizenship and 2 additional units. An official TOEFL score of 550 on the paper-based test (213 on the computer-based test or 79 on the internet-based test), IELTS score of 6.5 and cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) is required.
