Course summary
This program is designed to provide both breadth and depth in undergraduate study of the biological sciences. It can serve as preparation for medical school or other professional studies in the health sciences; graduate study in biological sciences; or direct employment as a research technician or field ecologist, or in a similar position. The program requires 129 semester hours divided among four components: 36 hours of general education requirements; 27 hours of foundation courses in algebra, chemistry, and physics; 45 hours of biological sciences courses; 21 hours of career option electives.
